A Prosperous Accountancy Practice with excellent transport links are recruiting for a Personal Tax Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous Personal Tax experience to enhance their Tax skills in a progressive environment.

The successful Personal Tax Senior will receive full study support and encouragement to pass all of your ATT and CTA Tax exams. You will working closely with a Manager and will benefit from the wisdom of the Tax team. To be considered for this opportunity you need to have gained previous experience within an Accountancy practice.

Personal Tax Senior Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting with the establishment and growth of the firms digital tax services for smaller business clients and personal tax clients.
• Support of the Tax department in providing.
• Basic tax planning services to individuals and smaller businesses.
• Corporate Tax returns.
• Tax compliance and reporting services.
• Tax computations.
• Development of skills in preparation of self assessment income and capital gains tax returns, liaison with clients and HMRC, fee quotation to billing the work, and in due course proactively offering basic tax planning ideas and solutions for private clients, written and verbal, and holding client meetings
• Willingness to assist the Tax department generally, within the individuals expertise, with personal tax returns, particularly leading up to the January 31 deadline.
• Assistance with ad hoc tax related projects for clients and referrers.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week (some flexibility available) hybrid working is available.
