An award winning, extremely flexible, Accountancy practice are seeking to appoint a Tax Advisory Manager in their established Tax team. This is a Mixed tax position, undertaking complex mixed Tax Advisory work, whilst collaborating with the Partners on specific tax client projects. The Tax Advisory Manager will work in partnership with the senior leadership team and Partners of the practice.
It is essential that you have an enhanced understanding, and ability to communicate complex tax principles in writing, and verbally. Consideration will be given to individuals who are CTA/ ACA/ ACCA qualified and possess Mixed tax experience gained in a professional accountancy practice environment. Effective communication skills are essential to communicate with colleagues and clients regarding intricate tax matters.
This unique opportunity would suit an individual striving for a better work/life balance, where overtime is rare, and if it occurs, it is paid or you accrue time off in lieu. Hybrid working from home is available and part time hours will also be considered.

Tax Advisory Manager duties and responsibilities:
- Complex mixed tax advisory work
- VAT and SDLT experience is desirable
- Assist other departments on internal complex compliance work
- Prepare reports for clients advising complex tax planning opportunities
- New client fee quoting
- Option to manage a small portfolio of clients from preparation to submission
- Manage HMRC enquiries and overall deadlines
- Manage complex HMRC disclosures and overall deadlines
- Correspond with H M Revenue & Customs, as required
- Keep up to date with current tax cases and legislation
- Prepare WIP for billing and manage billing generally on all work undertaken
- Work collaboratively with the Tax team and share tax knowledge
