A leading National Accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Associate Director. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Senior Client Manager striving to achieve Directorship or a Director seeking a change of environment. This opportunity is available as a result of strategic succession planning within the firm.
They are seeking an ambitious qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) to join the team and assist with future growth plans. The role requires an influential leader who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and deliver for the business and clients. The role of an Associate Director is to grow the client base and is responsible for the delivery of outstanding service to clients, which includes winning business, providing industry-leading advice, and creating an organisational culture where people are strongly connected to the practice's vision, mission, and values.
What are we seeking?
To be considered for this opportunity, we are seeking a qualified individual (ACA/ACCA) who is accustomed to managing a Client Portfolio and collaborating with Partners and senior leadership. An inspirational leader who motivates colleagues and enjoys shaping teams whilst instigating best practice.
Associate Director Duties and Responsibilities:
- Win, manage and grow own portfolio of clients.
- Provide industry-leading insights, solutions, and advice to build the firm's reputation and client base.
- Promote the products, services, and image of the firm to generate new business opportunities and enhance the firm's reputation.
- Create and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, Directors, and staff.
- Contribute to strategic and business planning to deliver an increase in revenue and profits.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team who deliver great service to clients and meet their billing targets.
- Create a high-performing culture where people live the vision, mission, and values and take action to improve if not.
- Ensure client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team to help motivate and inspire people to higher performance.
- Set performance measures, review performance, and take effective action to improve when off track.
- Develop workforce planning and workload management processes that ensure the correct staffing levels to process workload.
- Develop people, processes, systems, and practices to raise productivity and the quality of outputs.
- Be a strong role model for the organisation's values and standards to develop a high-performance culture.
- Develop and maintain the highest standards of technical knowledge and expertise for self and others.
- Measure the service provided to clients and implement improvements to deliver industry-leading service.
