An award-winning Newport based accountancy practice are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper for their team. This is an extremely flexible role, working on a part time basis, two or three days per week, ideally Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. You will benefit from an impressive office environment, Free on site parking, exceptional internal facilities, hybrid working and enhanced annual leave. The Senior Bookkeeper role involves managing your own portfolio of clients and providing a superior Bookkeeping service. To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have worked with cloud based accounting software, including, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks. It is imperative you have worked in an accountancy practice previously. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone seeking flexibility whilst delivering an excellent Bookkeeping service. Senior Bookkeeper duties and responsibilities; Posting invoices, reconciling bank and preparing journals such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation. Working with cloud based accountancy packages including, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. Data processing and reconciliations both at client premises and within the office. Preparing VAT returns.
