The Client: Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial cleaning equipment, with plans to expand the business further. This has presented an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join the business covering Nottingham and the surrounding areas.
The role of Field Service Engineer:
- To maintain a high standard of service and repair on all industrial cleaning equipment ensuring the delivery of a world class service experience.
- To be a custodian of the brand at all times and demonstrate the business's values.
Main Tasks:
- Regular communication with Regional Service Manager and Schedulers.
- Maintain, accurately diagnose and repair the full range of Industrial cleaning equipment including Municipal platforms competency.
- Control van stocks in accordance with customer base.
- Daily communication with Regional Scheduler.
- Identify and communicate sales leads.
- Maintain tools and equipment to a satisfactory and safe condition.
- Participate in on-job coaching with Regional Service Manager.
- Ensure relevant Service KPI's and SLA's are met.
- Ownership of Service reporting tasks.
- Full responsibility for company assets.
- Maintain sufficient stock levels specific to area.
- Maintain senior accreditation status.
- Full understanding of local maintenance contract terms and conditions.
Qualifications, experience and characteristics of the Product Field Service Engineer:
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer working in mechanical/electrical roles.
- Other backgrounds considered include; Plant, Material Handling/FLT's, Agricultural Equipment, HGV/LGV or mechanical/electrical field service roles from within the industry.
- Experience of batteries, hydraulics, pneumatics and engines.
- Full driving licence.
