The Client
Our client offers a broad range of civil engineering services to both the commercial and industrial sectors including groundworks, utilities, fibre and rail. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can either be permanent or freelance to be based out of their head office close to Altrincham.
Responsibilities
- Estimating / Pricing
- Day to day administration contracts
- Capture change
- Production of weekly/monthly P & L's
- Liaising with project teams on a daily basis
- Prepare quotes for variation works
- Take off foundations, drainage, external works for tendering purposes
Qualifications
- BSc or Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential)
- 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience of working within Rail
- Good technical and contractual knowledge
- Computer literate
- Highly motivated and keen to progress within the company
