We’re looking for an organised and proactive Help Desk Coordinator to join a growing Facility Maintenance & Small Works team based in Yate. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where you’ll manage reactive maintenance jobs from initial enquiry through to completion and invoicing. You’ll be coordinating engineers, subcontractors and clients daily to ensure jobs are attended on time, updated correctly and closed out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming maintenance requests via phone, email and client portals
- Raising and scheduling jobs using the company management system
- Coordinating engineers and subcontractors to meet service level agreements
- Updating clients with progress and completion information
- Reviewing job reports, photos and compliance documents
- Supporting follow-on works, quotations and invoicing processes
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting operational reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a help desk, service desk or coordination role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Good IT skills and experience using job management systems
- A proactive, team-focused and problem-solving attitude
Desirable
- Experience within facilities management, construction or maintenance
- Familiarity with Simpro or similar systems
- Understanding of SLAs/KPIs within reactive maintenance
