An exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to join a rapidly growing business based in Llansamlet, Swansea. With demand increasing this year, the business is expanding its warehouse operations and facilities. They are currently operating from a 4,500 sq ft unit and will soon be adding an additional 11,000 sq ft warehouse, creating the need for a reliable and hands-on individual to support the warehouse operation.
This role will work closely with the existing team and help ensure the warehouse runs efficiently as the business continues to grow.
This is a hands-on role, with around 50% of the time spent on warehouse operations and 50% supporting and overseeing processes and team members. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse environment while supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
- Labelling and maintaining accurate stock records
- Updating internal systems and Excel spreadsheets
- Coordinating deliveries and logistics
- Ensuring warehouse procedures are followed correctly
- Supporting team members and helping maintain high standards within the warehouse
- Assisting with the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse operations
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A team player who fits well within a growing business
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
- Flexible and willing to support the team where required
- Confident using basic IT systems and Excel
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Counterbalance forklift licence beneficial (training can be provided)
- Clean driving licence is essential
- Experience working with stock systems or warehouse processes is helpful
