We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team at our factory in Fforestfach. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality wooden components and joinery products, working from technical drawings and specifications. You will work with a range of materials, ensuring precision and attention to detail to meet both client and company standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components for bespoke joinery projects
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and client requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, with a strong background in woodworking
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience working with a variety of wood and joinery techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
