Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Warehouse Assistant role based in Liverpool. The Warehouse Assistant will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Responsibilities include packing orders accurately, preparing items for shipment, and assisting with stock checks to ensure products are correctly labeled and stored. The role may also involve basic inventory recording, restocking shelves, and occasionally supporting customer service needs related to orders and collections. The Warehouse Assistant will work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely dispatch.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Packing skills and attention to detail for accurate order preparation.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Control and Inventory Management skills to track stock levels and organize products effectively.
- Candidates should possess Forklift Operation skills where applicable, including safe handling of goods and adherence to warehouse safety procedures.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond professionally to order queries and support a positive experience for customers and colleagues.
- Basic numeracy and literacy, with the ability to follow written instructions and complete simple documentation.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods, following health and safety guidelines.
- Good time management, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environment is beneficial but not required.
