We are supporting a leading oil and gas operator who are looking to hire an Environmental Advisor on a 2-year PAYE contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 0–10 years’ experience looking to develop their career within a large-scale offshore project environment.
The Role
You will support the delivery of environmental compliance across a major project, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure all permits, licences, consents and regulatory submissions are managed effectively and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of regulatory submissions and approvals
- Managing and tracking permits, licences and consent requirements
- Maintaining compliance databases and monitoring submission timelines
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to support approvals
- Assisting with environmental reporting, compliance and assurance activities
- Supporting environmental processes across project phases (offshore, wells, subsea and onshore)
Requirements
- 0–10 years’ experience in environmental, regulatory or compliance roles
- Experience with permits, licences, consents or regulatory submissions
- Understanding of UK or international environmental regulations
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
