We are supporting a leading oil and gas operator who are looking to hire an Environmental Advisor on a 2-year PAYE contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 0–10 years’ experience looking to develop their career within a large-scale offshore project environment.

The Role

You will support the delivery of environmental compliance across a major project, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure all permits, licences, consents and regulatory submissions are managed effectively and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation and coordination of regulatory submissions and approvals
  • Managing and tracking permits, licences and consent requirements
  • Maintaining compliance databases and monitoring submission timelines
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to support approvals
  • Assisting with environmental reporting, compliance and assurance activities
  • Supporting environmental processes across project phases (offshore, wells, subsea and onshore)

Requirements

  • 0–10 years’ experience in environmental, regulatory or compliance roles
  • Experience with permits, licences, consents or regulatory submissions
  • Understanding of UK or international environmental regulations
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach
