Bow Arts invites applications to the 10th year of the Artist Educator Traineeship. This year’s trainee programme is open only to artists who currently hold a studio in either our Rum Factory or Lakeside studios or are in our Guardianship scheme at Thamesmead.
The Artist Educator Traineeship is a paid training opportunity for studio artists who are; interested in expanding their practice, have a passion for arts education, would like to gain practical skills and experience working in schools and aim to work with us as artist educators in the future.
What’s on offer?
- Paid experience working alongside professional artist educators in schools and education settings across London.
- Practical training in planning and delivering creative learning projects.
- One-to-one mentoring from an experienced artist educator
- Access to CPD sessions, peer learning opportunities and artist-led discussions.
- The opportunity to join Bow Arts’ pool of Artist Educators
