We are currently recruiting for Senior Engineer with experience in systems integration.
Primary Objective
Lead the Systems Integration workstream for a TFL Depot Upgrade, with accountability for:
- Depot Configuration Planning - baselining the staged transition from the existing depot layout to the future operational configuration.
- Project Information Management - assessing, improving, and coordinating the project systems, processes and digital tools required to deliver an integrated programme of works across multiple contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Depot Configuration Planning:
- Lead development and baselining of the depot migration plan.
- Coordinate TfL operational teams, maintainers, and contractors to develop an integrated depot migration plan.
- Ensure testing, commissioning, acceptance, and handover activities are considered in baselining the plan
Project Information Management:
- Review current Systems Integration and Project Information Management arrangements and identify opportunities for improvement. Areas for consideration include
- BIM
- Interface Management
- Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Deliverables tracking and reporting
Strategic Development:
- Define the future requirements of the Systems Integration function on the TFL Depot Upgrade Project.
- Produce a comprehensive Systems Integration Scope of Works covering depot configuration planning, project information management and interface management.
- Assess delivery options and recommend the most effective model, including:
- External specialist support
- Hybrid arrangements
Key Outcomes
- Baselined Depot Configuration Plan
- A baselined depot migration plan that defines the staged transition to the final depot configuration
- Systems Integration Scope of Works
- A clear, actionable scope defining how Depot Configuration Planning and Project Information Management should be delivered going forward, including BIM, Interface Management, EDMS, CDE, 4D Modelling and deliverables management,
- Recommendations on the optimum delivery model and resourcing approach for the project.
