We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcing Specialist) to join our People and Culture team. As a TAS you will leverage internal databases and external sources to identify and longlist external candidates for open vacancies and talent pools. Engagement with candidates will involve a combination of responding to active applicants and headhunting passive candidates.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition Partners and the broader People & Culture team on projects which improve the quality of shortlists and the candidate experience.
- Utilise search strategies under the guidance of Talent Acquisition Partners to find suitably qualified candidates for consideration.
- Screen long listed candidates and determine candidates for shortlisting under guidance from Talent Acquisition Partner.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for candidates and Hiring Managers as required.
- Work to established SLA that target number of candidates identified and qualified candidates moved to shortlist.
- Provide support on large scale Talent Acquisition activities and projects (e.g. Graduate Assessment Centres) as and when required.
- Keep informed of new initiatives and projects in Bovis to support brand development externally.
- Leverage technology such as AI LinkedIn to drive talent attraction.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Behaviours
- Skills: Utilising LinkedIn Recruiter to search and proactively approach candidates for specific requirements. External and internal networking to drive candidate generation. Talent pool creation for hard to fill and future requirements. Microsoft office work suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the recruiting into the construction, consulting or engineering sectors. Recruiting for white collar professionals (Commercial Management, Project Management, Construction Management).
- Experience: Customer-focused excellence, such as experience working in a customer-centric role. Working to tight deadlines and achieving established targets. Experience working in a digital environment and leverage technology to create the desired outcome. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade through relationships and rapport. Handling multiple requisition across a diverse level of seniority and disciplines. Proven track record of recruitment delivery in either agency or in-house talent acquisition function within the construction, consulting / engineering sectors.
