We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner with

Construction / Engineering Consultancy experience to join our expanding Talent Acquisition team partnering our Bovis consulting business.

The Talent Acquisition Partner is focused on recruiting people externally, with the capabilities Bovis needs, now and in the future.

The role will be based out of our London head office.

You will own the talent acquisition process and balance the importance of providing an exceptional candidate experience for all internal and external candidates, with the hiring manager’s business priorities.

Leverage market insights and advanced talent management software to deliver value to internal business stakeholders.

Work with the Talent Acquisition colleagues and the broader People & Culture team on projects which improve the candidate experience and long-term development of key capabilities within the organisation.

  • Accountabilities
  • Partner with business leaders to drive the consulting Talent Acquisition strategy within the aligned market segment
  • Provide valuable data-driven market insights, developed through deep expertise in the aligned market segment
  • Work with the hiring managers to define ideal candidate profile, hiring strategy, review shortlists, and make decisions on the successful candidate
  • Convert job brief into an appropriate series of skill tags to enable automated sourcing
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience throughout the interview process
  • Provide interview feedback to internal candidates (successful and unsuccessful) ensuring we a focused on the candidate experience.
  • Carefully manage the internal candidate experience, provide feedback to all internal applicants and work with the People & Culture Business Partner and Talent Management team to support career pathing where candidates are not skill-matched
  • Present verbal offer to preferred candidate and negotiate terms
  • Conduct interviews as required (face to face/telephone)
  • Keep informed of new initiatives and projects in Bovis to support brand development externally
  • Key Performance Indicators will include short time to fill, optimisation of short lists, diverse applicants in shortlists
  • Ensure a sound understanding of, demonstrate commitment to and comply with all legislation and policies relevant to the role and all activities undertaken in that role (e. g., data privacy, contractor engagement legislation, wider employment legislation impacting Talent Acquisition, DEI KPIs, and best practice around Talent Acquisition, etc.)

Skills, experience, and capabilities

  • Experience in a recruitment environment that focuses on business partnering and customer service
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience in a complex environment with competing business priorities
  • Comfort working with data, interpreting, and synthesising information to deliver value add for the internal customer
  • Experience in using Linked In Recruiter and Talent Insights
  • Experience in managing high volumes of requirements at any one time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, notable excel, work and Power Point.

A proven track record and experience recruiting in / for the wider construction / engineering consultancy sector.

  • Experience working with cloud-based software / ATS systems. (Oracle fusion)
  • Experience working through large scale transformation and demonstratable resilience while driving change adoption
  • Experience working with a highly mobile workforce, driving internal applications, and drawing from internal talent pools.
  • Ability to present data to senior leaders taking on the journey to influence change as and when required.
  • Driving DEI initiatives and actively sourcing diverse talent.
  • Experience working to SLA targets in line with the TA strategy for the business.
