As the CDM 2015/Health & Safety Project Manager, the individual will be responsible for providing CDM Services relating to Client CDM advisor, Principal Designer and Principal Designer Advisory services in accordance with the CDM 2015 Regulations. The role requires the delivery of multiple projects and services within the Consulting business to support operations and growth aligned to the approved business plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the HS & Quality Lead in maintaining CDM (SSiP) Accreditation.
- Ensuring that projects are managed in accordance with the Consulting Processes and Procedures.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulation and other H&S legislation.
- Assisting in setting up and managing regular SHELT meetings.
- Leading and partaking in lessons learnt and best practice sharing relevant to the QMS.
- Carrying out site visits, inspections and audits.
- Providing assistance to ensure the highest Health, Safety & Environmental standards are maintained on all projects.
- Managing the EHS team on their delivery of the CDM services projects.
- Looking for opportunities for new clients and continued work with existing clients.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Extensive knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations and application of the Duty Holders legal requirements.
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and mandatory requirements.
- Recognised H&S qualification within the Construction Industry, e.g. NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Professional membership of a recognised H&S professional body, e.g. IOSH, IIRSM, APS.
- Experience in delivering diverse and complex projects as a Principal Designer across various sectors.
