What youâll be doing? As a Duty Manager, you will have a key position in supporting all departments. Ultimately, this role is around enhancing guest service, building relationships with guests and maintaining regular contact with them throughout their stay. You will support other departments during pressure points of service, and be an integral âgo toâ person for both guests and managers. At Eden Hotel Collection, it is ALL about our guest, being 100% customer focused with a âcan doâ attitude, sense of humour, alongside an eye for detail. And so, you will lead from the front in delivering inspirational service and total guest satisfaction whilst also identifying opportunities to upsell products and services that are available, maximising sales where possible.
What youâll need? Ideally, you will already have hotel Front Office experience ideally at Team Leader level; OR You may have recently graduated and already have significant Reception or F&B experience gained either during a placement year or part-time experience. Either way, youâll be looking for a role that can widen your experience and be a stepping stone to a future Head of Department role. Most important is your proven skills/ability to:
- Be professional, knowledgeable and dedicated to delivering first class experiences to guests and hotel residents, high standards will be second nature to you.
- You will be highly attentive with strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to build relationships with guests and members of the hotel team.
- A warm and welcoming personality is key, with high standards of professionalism and a drive to provide a memorable experience for each and every guest.
- To preferably have knowledge of hotel reservations systems, and Microsoft Office skills.
