About the Company A boutique and specialist law firm is hiring a Partner or Legal Director for their Employment team, based in the Reading office.

There is lots of work already in play in this team, and so for the right person, this is a genuine opportunity to step into a Partner position without the need to take a client following with you.

About the Role This position sits within a highly reputable Employment team; one known nationally for the support they offer to both employees and employers at a range of companies, from start-ups to some of the biggest household names.

The team is known for offering strategic, honest and coordinated advice, and has been recognised by the Legal 500 for Employment work for many years.

Due to the makeup of the team and the work coming from clients, there is a genuine need for a Legal Director or Partner within the team but without the need for that person to bring their own work with them.

This role is perfect for a stifled Legal Director within a large team who is either dealing with institutionalised clients and therefore cannot build their own client book, or who is lacking the investment from their current practice to push on.

About You You will need to be ideally over 6 years PQE and have strong experience in employment law, advising employers and dealing with contentious matters.

In addition, you'll need to be interested in managing and mentoring juniors as well as supporting the wider team.

This office is dedicated to creating a strong culture and positive environment to work in, and you'll be expected to be a key player in this.

Equal Opportunities Bovelle is committed to inclusive, values-led recruitment.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and actively encourage candidates from underrepresented groups in law, and would be happy to discuss your application with you.

Reasonable adjustments available on request.
