Ensure smooth running of surgeries/clinics.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Follow all procedures as laid out in the practice Procedures File.
- Receive/direct patients appropriately during surgery.
- Answer the telephone(s) promptly.
- Send and receive emails.
- Operate computerized appointment system as directed.
- Prepare prescriptions for GP.
- Make appointments or follow up re-appointments with various hospitals, clinics, etc. for patients.
- Order ambulance for patients to attend hospital appointments where necessary.
- File patient records.
- Give blood results including INR to patients.
- Scan letters into patient computerized files accurately.
- Add relevant data regarding patients onto the computer.
- Open and prepare the premises punctually in the morning.
- Lock up and secure the premises at night.
- Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs including English & Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- 2 years customer service experience.
- Previous experience in Healthcare.
Further Information:
- Salary: £23,492.04 per annum, pro rata.
- Position will be 4 hours a day over 2 days.
- Area: Republic of Ireland.
