Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant for our Shared Service Centre, working in our professional and friendly Finance office in Haywards Heath. Work life balance is important to us at Bouygues, so the role offers a Hybrid working pattern.
Job Overview
You will work as part of the Accounting Reporting Team reporting into the Finance Manager. The role will involve assisting with month end, quarter end and year end reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- ACCA student or relevant degree
- Good communicator
- Capacity to work alone and as part of a team
- Sound Microsoft Office knowledge and good understanding of Excel
- Accurate and good attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- SAP experience would be advantageous
- Positive attitude
- Analytical approach and problem solver
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly ledger reconciliations
- Preparing and posting journals
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet revaluation
- Assist with preparation of month end, quarter end and year end reporting for manager review
- Assist management with preparation of financial statements and audits
- Prepare tax packs for manager review
- Support the SSC management and other accounts teams as and when required
