We are working on a variety of projects across the region and have a strong pipeline ahead of us! We are looking for graduates who are flexible to travel and happy to be based at one of our projects within the Southwest and Wales region. We have projects ranging from Exeter to Carmarthen, with offices in Bristol and Cardiff. Responsibilities
- The Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor will learn and develop the skills necessary to support commercial activity in the region.
- You would be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two-year structured training scheme.
- The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom-based learning and on the job training.
- We will provide you with the support and mechanisms to build a successful career, including support with chartership.
- Maximisation of commercial results of the project.
- Procurement and Financial Control of Sub-Contractors.
- Delivery of monthly financial reports to forecast net margin & activity utilising the company tools, procedures & rules.
- Liaison and collaboration with the construction and design teams in all aspects of contractual activities.
Qualifications
- A 2:1 or above in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or similar).
- A genuine interest in the construction industry!
