UBY is a new Constructech subsidiary of the Bouygues Group which uses the best of technology and data to provide simple and unique smart solutions that meet the environmental, health, safety, productivity and sustainability challenges of construction players and infrastructure managers. By deploying its specialized sensors, software and algorithms, UBY offers environmental, structural, productivity and occupational health and safety monitoring in the construction and operation phases. UBY positions itself as a Constructech expert and co‑pilot for operations managers, enabling them to manage their projects with the right information at the right time to make the right decisions. Scope of Role
As a key client‑facing contact, you will play a central role in the deployment, supervision and continuous improvement of our IoT solutions. The role combines technical configuration, data quality, customer support and innovation.
Your Skills Profile Should Include
- You will have recently completed a higher education degree and have a good understanding of the construction industry, with foundational knowledge in structural engineering and/or environmental topics.
- As a person you are naturally drawn to innovation and enjoy exploring new technologies and use cases.
- You have a solid interest in IoT technologies and data acquisition systems, and you take pleasure in analysing data and solving complex technical problems.
- Being comfortable using digital tools for data processing and scripting, including Python, and you are keen to further develop your technical skills.
- You enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and are curious, rigorous and open‑minded.
- You are able to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and you are motivated by roles that combine technology, real‑world impact and continuous learning.
About the Role
- Configuration & Deployment: Manage end‑to‑end configuration of client environments (UBY Structural solutions). Create and administer client platforms, including user management. Configure system behaviour, alerts and reporting. Work closely with the Operational Project Manager during deployments.
- Monitoring & Data Quality: Monitor platform and sensor performance using dedicated monitoring tools. Ensure data quality, alert reliability and report consistency. Identify, diagnose and resolve issues related to sensors or data flows.
- Technical Support & Expertise: Provide advanced technical support for the interpretation of IoT data. Train and support operational teams on best practices related to sensors and data usage.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Contribute to product improvements in collaboration with Product Managers and Developers. Proactively suggest enhancements, carry out IoT technology watch and explore new methodological and technical approaches.
