The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated construction professional to join the Tunnels & Approaches contract on the LTC project.
As Deputy Digital Construction Manager, you will support the deployment of digital construction solutions during the delivery phase, working closely with the Digital team and all project delivery teams.
You will play a key role in implementing and optimising our digital construction management platform (DALUX), whilst supporting other digital initiatives such as Tunnel segments tracking, digital concrete management or Io T/Plant Management solutions.
This role is ideal for a construction professional with solid site-based experience who is ready to step up into digital leadership and make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of the DALUX platform across the construction delivery phase, ensuring effective rollout to project teams.
- Coordinate with delivery teams (Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, Production, Plant Management) to understand their digital requirements, gather feedback on tool usage, and support effective adoption.
- Lead the DALUX Champions network connecting the digital team to the wider project teams and Supply chain partners.
- Act as a key point of contact for site teams, providing support with platform navigation, troubleshooting, and helping teams leverage digital tools to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training and guidance materials to support team adoption of digital solutions.
- Monitor and report on digital tool usage, identifying adoption barriers and opportunities for improvement across the project.
- Work with the Digital Lead and the rest of the digital team to champion the adoption of other digital solutions in alignment with project requirements and team needs.
- Collaborate with the Digital Lead and Business Data Analyst on construction data analysis and insights, supporting teams to make the most of the data captured on site.
- Maintain visibility of emerging digital technologies and best practices in construction, bringing innovative ideas to the project team.
- Support continuous improvement of digital processes, incorporating feedback from site teams and evolving project needs.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable site-based construction experience (production, quality, design, or site supervision)
- Proven understanding of major projects workflows, processes, and team structures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence across multiple disciplines and seniority levels.
- Demonstrated team coordination and stakeholder management experience.
- Good working knowledge of construction tools, processes, and methodologies (e. g., Lean, continuous improvement, BIM).
- Credibility as a construction professional with practical site experience.
- Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for digital technology and its practical application in construction.
- Track record of championing digital solutions on site in previous positions.
- Willingness to learn and develop; work autonomously but seek support whenever required
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team.
