Project: The Lower Thames Crossing is one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes, linking Kent and Essex via the longest road tunnel in the country. Delivered by VSL International Ltd as part of the Bouygues Construction group, we are undertaking critical enabling works at the north portal in Tilbury, including diaphragm walls, soil mixing, and piling, all essential to the successful delivery of the project.
Role Overview: We are looking to appoint multiple Site Engineers to support the delivery of complex ground engineering and deep foundation works on the Lower Thames Crossing.
- 3 x Site Engineers – Soil Mixing
- 4 x Site Engineers – Deep Foundations (piling / diaphragm wall)
Working closely with the Project and Engineering teams, you will coordinate on-site engineering activities across a range of specialist techniques, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with design, quality, and programme requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a large-scale, technically complex geotechnical package within a major infrastructure project.
