Join Us as a Document Controller – Supporting Sizewell C's Future. The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is recruiting for a vital role in building Sizewell C – a landmark 3.2-gigawatt power station set to deliver low‐carbon electricity to around 6 million homes. This project is more than just construction; it's about powering the UK's clean energy future for at least the next 60 years.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing document registration, dispatch, filing, and archiving within the CWA and client EDMS systems.
- Tracking and expediting construction documents and quality records, ensuring completeness and compliance.
- Supporting the Quality Manager with compiling quality records and monitoring project deviations from initiation to resolution.
- Coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure document accuracy and timely acceptance.
- Training colleagues and suppliers on document control processes and digital tools.
- Generating progress and compliance reports to keep the project on track.
What We Need From You
- A self‐starter with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Confidence in working independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast‐paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to support and train colleagues at all levels, from site teams to senior managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn and teach new software tools.
- Experience or interest in digital records management is highly advantageous.
