b Overview /b p As a Senior Post Completion Officer, you will manage defect liability issues and drive resolution across a varied portfolio of developments from a base in Bristol with regional travel. You will perform post-completion inspections, defect investigations, and site surveys, supporting quality control throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll coordinate with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners to ensure timely remediation within Bouygues policies and safety rules. This role offers impact by shaping post-completion quality and safety standards on high-profile projects. You will join a collaborative team that values continuous improvement and practical, safety-focused problem solving. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 26 days annual leave /li li 2 paid volunteering days a year /li li Pension scheme /li li Life insurance /li li Private medical insurance /li li Generous share scheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage DLP and construction run-off liability issues on assigned projects, identifying, assessing, and resolving defects /li li Conduct post-completion inspections, defects investigations, and site surveys across residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments /li li Support quality control and assurance interventions and inspections throughout the project lifecycle /li li Participate in quality assurance audits and assessments, documenting findings and supporting corrective actions /li li Prepare defect reports, schedules of works, and supporting documentation for clients and contractors /li li Liaise with site teams, contractors, clients, and supply chain partners to facilitate timely resolution of identified issues /li li Maintain accurate records and project documentation, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements /li li Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices with the wider team /li li Support the implementation of quality standards across the project lifecycle /li li Ensure all defect remediation works comply with Bouygues policies, Health and Safety legislation, and site-specific requirements /li li Coordinate with contractors and site teams to manage health and safety risks associated with remedial works, ensuring risk assessments and method statements are in place /li li Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety standards during remediation activities and escalate non-compliance /li li Maintain records of health and safety documentation related to defect remediation /li li Promote a strong safety culture and ensure remediation activities align with Bouygues UK policies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong foundation in construction, building surveying, or project management with post-completion or defects management experience /li li Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and contractual frameworks /li li Technical competence in building inspection, defect identification, and remedial solution assessment /li li Experience supporting quality control and assurance processes within construction environments /li li Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills /li li Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders /li li Knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance procedures /li li Reliability, integrity, and commitment to exceptional customer service /li li Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across assigned regions /li /ul ul li strong communication skills /li li attention to detail /li li collaborative stakeholder management /li li building inspection /li li defect identification /li li remedial solution assessment /li /ul
