  • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for client environment, compliance and assurance representatives, building strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Champion and facilitate delivery of our sustainability targets around carbon, waste, water, materials and biodiversity-ensuring initiatives are practical, achievable and impactful at site level.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the on-site Environmental & Sustainability Team, building environmental capability, accountability and a culture of excellence across all Alliance partners and supply chain.
  • Set expectations and provide targeted training, toolbox talks and coaching to embed consistent compliance and best practice behaviours across the project.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven experience within the Construction, Civils, Utilities or Energy sector in an environmental and/or sustainability role.
  • Sound knowledge of construction environmental management systems and regulatory frameworks, with demonstrable experience leading environmental compliance on major projects.

  • Professional accreditation and experience working within an alliance delivery model would be highly advantageous.
