We are seeking an Interfaces Engineer – Marine & Tunnelling to join our team at the CWA, working on the Sizewell C project, one of the UK\’s most ambitious infrastructure projects. As part of the Civil Works Alliance, you\’ll contribute to laying the groundwork for the UK\’s energy future. Sizewell C will be a 3.2 GW nuclear power station, providing low-carbon electricity to approximately 6 million homes, supporting a cleaner, more secure energy future.

In this role, you will coordinate and support the delivery of marine and tunnelling works during the preconstruction phase. Your responsibilities include engaging with regulators and consent bodies, supporting engineering and delivery teams, and ensuring offshore intake structures and underground tunnel routes meet planning and environmental standards.

You will be based between London and Suffolk, engaging regularly with project stakeholders. Your tasks include reviewing licence conditions, supporting design compliance, and contributing to execution planning. Your ability to manage complex interfaces will be vital.

Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of marine construction and tunnelling from the seabed up, experience working under DCO requirements, and familiarity with bodies like the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) and Environment Agency (EA). Practical experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is essential.
