Overview

Engineering Manager role for the Sizewell C project under the Civil Works Alliance (CWA). Location: Ipswich, Leiston, United Kingdom. Contract type: Permanent. Full-time. On-site/Office based. Responsibilities

  • Engineering Delivery Excellence: Spearhead construction engineering for Enabling Works and Earthworks, emphasizing \”Right First Time\” delivery across safety, quality, and program efficiency.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Management: Collaborate with Methods, Temporary/Permanent Works, Digital Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Survey teams to ensure seamless integration and project success.
  • Strategic Leadership: Establish and lead an organizational structure capable of delivering technical excellence for key civil engineering elements such as access bridges, sea defenses, and marine delivery structures.
  • Technical Innovation: Develop solutions mindful of site constraints and client requirements, working with stakeholders to secure timely consent approvals.
  • Project Integration: Coordinate with procurement, commercial, information management, digital engineering, and project controls to uphold robust project management principles.
  • Digital Transformation: Champion technology adoption to streamline construction delivery processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work alongside technical leads, clients, and stakeholders to navigate complex interfaces and ensure successful project completion.
