Job Purpose and Scope
Assist the internal trades site manager in the co-ordination and control of the onsite construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan.
Accountabilities and Key Tasks
- Be involved in the overall programming and planning of the build.
- Assist the site manager in maintaining progress on site in accordance with the contract programme.
- Oversee elements of work as directed by the site manager to ensure safe execution.
- Attend site meetings as requested.
- Provide information for Progress Reports if requested.
- In the absence of the Site or Project Manager, chair and minute the subcontractors meetings.
- Report to the Site or Project Manager regarding progress.
- Assist the Site Manager to prepare for each element of the works an Inspection and Test Plan and ensure its requirements are achieved.
- Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality environmental and safety requirements.
- Be fully conversant and comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
- Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials.
- Assist the Site Manager in ensuring the following records are maintained on site: Diary, Drawing Register, Health.
