As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), I\’m excited to invite applications for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Ipswich or Leiston. This critical role carries overall accountability for financial management, cost control, and reporting across the CWA Site Wide section of the Sizewell C project – a pioneering endeavour that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and shape the UK\’s energy future for decades.
You\’ll be a key player within our high-performing finance team, contributing to strategic development, operational performance, and organisational efficiency. Your role will involve partnering closely with operational, commercial, procurement, and planning teams to ensure robust financial controls and insightful reporting that supports effective decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, cash flow, variance analysis, and KPIs.
- Ensure finance compliance and controls operate seamlessly across the CWA Site Wide section.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and quarterly/annual financial plans, including risk and opportunity reporting.
- Provide clear, insightful financial analysis and support senior management in performance reviews and contract management.
- Lead and develop your team, fostering a trusted, customer-focused culture.
- Support risk frameworks and ensure statutory and company procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including EDF, UK government departments, regulators, and alliance partners.
