The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.
In this role you will work closely with Structural Design teams in Bouygues UK , including Bouygues Batiment International and WeWood – our timber structure subsidiary based in France. Its a role where you will benefit from the support and supervision of the Technical Department of BBI in Paris. The team you would join is part of the Technical Department of Bouygues UK, a team of highly skilled specialists in civil engineering, construction methods, building envelope, building services and sustainability. The position is based in London but regular travel to our construction sites across the UK will be expected.
Your Skills profile should include the following:
Higher education in building and / or Civil Engineering, you have experience as a structural designer on projects at execution phase
Software skills: Revit, AutoCad and Structural modeling software (Advance, Etabs, Robot, RAMβ¦),
Behaviour skills: Enthusiastic person, flexible, organised and good communicator.
The role will cover:
- The technical calculations of reinforced concrete and steelworks structures according to Eurocodes
- Pre-dimensioning of shallow or deep foundations Finite element modelling of structures
- Prepare options and scheme designs to fulfill project brief and suit Bouygues UKβs selected delivery modes
- Undertake Carbon calculations and proposals to reduce the carbon footprint of our projects
- Support Project Leads in the management of external design consultants, from early design stages until delivery
- Assistance to construction teams during the delivery phase (RIBA stage 5)
