Overview: This role supports our MEP Unbundled strategy, reducing our reliance on external market supply to ensure better quality, safety, and control over project timelines. The Manager will provide overall design & engineering leadership/management for the business region(s), with responsibility for the delivery of design information. MEP project values typically range from £5M - £130M, covering prequalification to completion with emphasis on work winning and preconstruction.
Responsibilities include building and leading effective relationships with MEP designers & BIM Coordinators to maximise value/opportunity and mitigate risk. Projects are based in London and the Southeast (including Jersey) and cover various sectors: Healthcare, Residential Regeneration, Schools, and Data Centres.
Skills Profile:
- Substantial experience collaborating with a main contractor or large subcontractor
- Degrees in Mechanical subject are preferable but we’d also consider people qualified by experience
- Proven in-depth technical knowledge of Mechanical MEP Services
- Proven people management (including mentoring) experience of managing/developing teams
- An effective analytical person
- Initiative-taking, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
- Client-driven with effective communication skills
- Advocate for Health and Safety
- Commercially astute

- Member of the MEP Unbundled Strategy Core Team involved and contributing to strategic planning, business decisions, and overall performance of the business region
- Ownership of key customer/consultant relationships, ensuring where possible mutually positive outcomes
