The role would be based from our Bristol office but supporting the Hinkley project. It’s a very exciting time to be joining Bouygues! We have been delivering a Turn-key EPC contract for the Hinkley Point C new build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG). The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work alongside a group of very dedicated and knowledgeable individuals within our team, and be able to contribute to the work that we are carrying out on this innovative project. This two-year graduate placement within the technical team includes control of technical change, interfaces and configuration, with the following responsibilities assigned: Support the ICCM (Interface, Change, Configuration Management) Lead in the administration and oversight of technical change, interface and configuration management. This will necessitate a broad overview of the EDG system design. Oversee and administer the technical change process and liaise with Work Package Leads to ensure timely progress of technical changes. Graduate programme: You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two-year structured training scheme. The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom-based learning and on the job training. What you`ll need: A 2:1 (or above) in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). Knowledge of engineering design and quality processes. A genuine desire to work within the nuclear industry.
