Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with suppliers in the UK and abroad including the Far East.
  • Work closely with the design, buying, and merchandising teams.
  • Review tech packs with designers to assess material and construction requirements.
  • Review graded size specs and advise suppliers where they need to be amended.
  • Thorough understanding of product testing with the ability to review test reports and highlight any issues to the buying team.
  • Ensure all products comply with REACH legislation.
  • Liaise with the warehouse QC department on bulk inspections; any issues need to be dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that our high fit and quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Constantly looking for ways to push and improve the quality and fit of the brand.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to Degree level.
  • At least 4-5 years experience with either a retailer or supplier across lingerie, nightwear, and swimwear product categories.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of reading and analysing test reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of bra construction and manufacturing techniques.
  • Factory experience would be beneficial.
  • Sustainability experience would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Prop 65 would be beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail with good organisation skills.
  • Proactive and enjoy problem solving.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain focus when under pressure.
  • A confident communicator at all levels.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
