We’re looking for a Junior Social Media Executive to join Boutique and help us deliver brilliant Paid and Organic Social work across a range of clients.
This is a role for someone at the beginning of their career who loves social media and wants to understand much more than just one part of it.
You’ll work across Paid Social, Organic Social and Influencer, learning from experienced specialists while getting hands‑on with campaigns, content, creative, reporting and everything that keeps great Social activity moving.
We’re not expecting you to arrive knowing everything. We’re looking for someone curious, organised and keen to learn who wants to build a proper career in Social.
What you’ll be doing
No two weeks will look exactly the same, but you’ll get involved in things like:
- Building and setting up Paid Social campaigns across platforms such as Meta and TikTok
- Supporting campaign optimisation, pacing, testing and quality checks
- Scheduling and publishing Organic Social content
- Drafting and preparing social posts for approval
- Supporting content calendars and campaign plans
- Helping with community management and social monitoring
- Coordinating creative assets, briefs, amends and deadlines
- Supporting Influencer and creator activity
- Pulling together data and helping prepare client reports
- Spotting trends, competitor activity and opportunities across Social
- Keeping campaigns, tasks and documentation organised
- Working with colleagues across Digital, PR, Influencer, Creative, and Media
As you develop, you’ll start to take more ownership of campaigns, optimisation, reporting, creative recommendations and client communication.
Who we’re looking for
Experience is useful, but potential matters more to us for this role.
You’ll probably be someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in social media, brands, advertising and content
- Wants to learn about both the creative and performance sides of Social
- Is naturally organised and good at keeping on top of things
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is comfortable working with numbers as well as creative ideas
- Communicates clearly and writes well
- Understands the major social platforms and how people use them
- Is interested in why some campaigns and content perform better than others
- Is curious and keen to learn new tools, platforms and skills
- Enjoys being part of a team
Some previous Social Media experience would be great, whether that’s from an agency, brand, internship, placement, university project or something you’ve built yourself, but it isn’t essential.
Where could the role take you?
We see this as the beginning of a career rather than simply a junior delivery role.
One of the benefits of joining Boutique is that you won’t immediately be put into a narrow specialism. You’ll get exposure to Paid Social, Organic Social and Influencer, giving you the chance to understand where your strengths and interests lie.
As your experience grows, you could develop towards:
- Paid Social, taking more ownership of campaign strategy, optimisation, testing, performance analysis and platform expertise.
- Organic Social, developing your skills across content planning, community management, social listening and creative strategy.
- Influencer & Creator Marketing, becoming more involved in creator identification, partnerships, content activation and measurement.
Or you might choose to remain broader and develop into a rounded Social specialist who understands how Paid, Organic and Influencer work together.
We’ll give you increasing responsibility as your confidence and capability grow, alongside learning, development and mentoring opportunities.
We want people to have the flexibility to do great work while still having a life outside it.
Our benefits include:
- 9-day fortnight
- Flexitime
- Your birthday off
- Additional annual leave with length of service
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
- Westfield Health Cash Plan
- Learning & Development investment
- Lunch & Learns
- Company pension
- Employee referral incentive
- Railcards for eligible employees
- Regular company meals and socials
- Team building events
- Dog-friendly office
- Dress-down office
- Holy Fit Running Club
- And, of course, Brewtique – time to take your colleagues out for a coffee and a chat
Boutique’s benefits are designed around flexibility, wellbeing, development and team culture.
You won’t be joining us to spend every day scheduling posts or pressing buttons in Ads Manager.
You’ll get to see how Social fits into wider marketing, work across different disciplines and clients, and learn from people with deep expertise in their areas.
As you get better, we’ll give you more responsibility.
If you’re at the beginning of your career and want somewhere you can learn Paid, Organic and Influencer Social before deciding where you want to specialise, we’d love to hear from you.
