The Burlington Care Home by Boutique Care Homes is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and promote well-being.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. Your responsibilities include helping residents with personal care, promoting their well-being, supporting during mealtimes, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating while respecting dignity and preferences.
  • Mobility Support: Provide assistance with transferring, walking, and use of mobility aids to ensure safety and independence.
  • Meal Service: Serve nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, provide emotional support, and encourage social interaction.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks – cleaning, laundry, tidying, bed-making and linen changes.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate care records, monitoring changes in residents’ conditions.
  • Safety: Identify and mitigate potential hazards and follow safety protocols.
  • Communication: Update healthcare professionals, families, and team leaders on residents’ well-being; report any changes or concerns to Line Manager.
  • Training & Meetings: Attend team meetings and required training sessions.
  • Activities & Engagement: Participate in a team-based approach to delivering activities and lifestyle enrichment.
