This role is to oversee and manage our over 55’s Independent Living Schemes in Bournville and surrounding areas. We aspire to having a diverse and inclusive workforce. Job Profile
This is a very exciting opportunity for somebody to oversee and lead our over 55’s housing stock in Birmingham to success, as we embark on a new journey as we re-brand our services as Independent Living and undertake a new way of working. You and your team will ensure that the schemes are run to their best ability efficiency-wise, financially, and will ensure the best performance and outputs possible for the services – ensuring excellent customer service along the way. You will lead the team, and the residents, through a period of change as we rebrand our services as Independent Living.
Candidate Profile
- You will be values driven and focused on delivering great services.
- You will have experience in managing Retirement Living or supported housing schemes.
- You will have experience in housing management.
- You will have experience in managing teams to success, coaching and developing a team along the way.
- You will have experience of financial and performance management, including management of budgets.
- You will understand the H&S and compliance landscape of Older Persons Schemes.
- You will be empathetic and adept at communicating with stakeholders.
- You will be organised and have good problem-solving skills.
- You will be self-motivated and have a willingness to learn.
