We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and motivated teacher to join our strong Science team. This is an ideal opportunity for a colleague who is ambitious, creative and enthusiastic about helping students to learn in a robust, supportive environment.

• Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment
• Promote good outcomes by students, planning well-structured lessons
• Have a secure understanding of your curriculum area and related pedagogy, including the contribution that your curriculum area can make to cross-curricular learning and awareness of new developments
• Know how to use skills in literacy, numeracy and new technologies to support your teaching and wider professional activities
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment
• Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high standards of personal and professional conduct
