We are seeking a caring and reliable breakfast club assistant to join our friendly team at Locking Primary School. This part‐time, term‐time only school job is ideal for someone looking for morning work, excellent work–life balance, or a role within education support staff.
You will help deliver a welcoming school breakfast club for children aged 4–11, ensuring pupils start each school day safe, happy and ready to learn.
Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30am - 9:30am
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As a Breakfast Club Assistant, your duties will include:
- Preparing and serving a healthy breakfast in a clean, safe environment
- Supervising children and leading safe, creative play activities
- Setting up and packing away equipment, furniture and resources
- Ensuring rooms and storage areas are clean, tidy and organised
- Recording attendance accurately and efficiently
- Safeguarding pupils and reporting health, safety or child protection concerns
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers and school staff
- Escorting pupils safely to their classrooms at the start of the school day
