About The Role

The Future Students Enquiry Team is at the heart of Bournemouth University’s student recruitment activity. As the first point of contact for prospective students, we play a vital role in shaping their experience and helping them feel confident in choosing BU. We pride ourselves on delivering friendly, accurate, and personalised advice that supports individuals at one of the most important decision‑making stages of their lives.

In This Dynamic Role, You Will:

  • Respond proactively to enquiries from a diverse range of audiences.
  • Communicate across multiple channels, including email, phone, live chat, social media, and face‑to‑face interactions.
  • Provide clear, accurate and timely information that builds confidence and trust in BU.
  • Develop a strong, in‑depth knowledge of BU’s courses, entry requirements and the student journey – from initial enquiry through to enrolment.

About You

  • Is genuinely passionate about customer service and student experience.
  • Has excellent communication skills and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Understands how high‑quality customer interactions contribute to student recruitment and conversion.

Employment Details

This post is offered on a full‑time basis with shift patterns Monday‑Thursday 09:00‑17:00 and Friday 09:00‑16:30. It is a fixed‑term position for 12 months. This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points‑Based System, so BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work for this role.
