This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of the institution, partnering with senior leaders to turn strategy into action and ensure that complex, organisation‑wide change delivers real and lasting impact.

Working as part of the Strategic Change Team, this role will play a key role in the delivery and ongoing development of the BU2035 programme of work. The postholder would work closely with the team to help shape and implement the BU 2035 Programme and other projects as required. The purpose of this role is three-fold:

  • to provide effective support, oversight and organisation of cross‑institutional change projects (for example BU 2035);
  • to contribute to the design, development and implementation of strategic projects run within the Strategic Change Team;
  • provide logistical support for projects and programmes.

This position is available on a fixed‑term basis until 2nd July 2027. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.

About the department

They form part of a wider BU2035 Delivery Team who are also supported by the Digital Programmes Team. The Strategic Change Team works over a very wide portfolio supporting all five of the BU2035 strategic pillars. This is an exciting time to join the team and deliver real lasting institutional change.
