We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Advisor Manager to lead our Mental Health Advisor service and play a pivotal role in supporting students with complex mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mental health professional to combine leadership, service development, risk management and direct student support within a dynamic and student-focused environment.
About the Role
As Mental Health Advisor Manager, you will lead a team of Mental Health Advisors, providing line management, professional supervision and service oversight to ensure students receive high-quality, effective support that enables them to succeed academically and personally. Reporting to the Clinical Lead, you will maintain your own caseload of students with complex and high-risk mental health needs while supporting the wider student wellbeing team through assessment, triage and crisis management activity when required.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
