ResLifeBU is a student‑led programme of activities and services focusing on the enablement and development of inclusive and self‑supporting student communities within BU’s student accommodation. ResLifeBU has three core aims of providing: inclusive events and activities that assist with the process of social integration; wellbeing information and guidance to assist with the ups and downs of transitioning into university life; and support with the development of the skills required for independent living.
The role of ‘Events and Activities Coordinator’ is an exciting opportunity to join the ResLifeBU team and support the core day‑to‑day operations, primarily delivering a comprehensive calendar of activities and events across the student halls of residence. Working closely with our accommodation teams, you will be getting involved in all areas of the programme with the planning, promotion and running of events, procurement or resources and management of finances as well as providing administrative support.
The successful candidate will be studying / or have studied a relevant qualification and/or have experience in a previous relevant job role, have a creative and mature approach to life and their work and, ideally, will have experience of living in student halls of residence. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
This position is available on a fixed‑term basis until 31 July 2026.
