We are seeking a highly motivated Student Records Officer to join the newly established Student Records Team within Academic Services. The role will be key to maintaining accurate data in our Student Records system, SITS, particularly in areas such as student loans, enrolment, curriculum and assessment.
As an experienced administrator, you will be a team player who is organised and efficient and who enjoys working with data. You will need great attention to detail, and a methodical approach for improving processes, combined with excellent customer service skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across BU and liaise externally with the Student Loans Company.
You will receive 30 days annual leave plus seasonal closure (between Christmas and New Year), free travel between two vibrant campuses, hybrid working, and enjoy corporate discounts from numerous local businesses and services.
This permanent position is open to Bournemouth University staff and agency staff currently working at Bournemouth University only. This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
About the department: The Student Records and Reporting Team is part of the Academic Registry Department within Academic Services. Academic Services creates an enabling academic environment, which shares expertise, builds capabilities and inspires stakeholders through sector leading, user centred processes and outstanding service delivery.
