We are seeking an experienced and proactive Student Immigration Compliance and Advice Manager to lead the university’s student immigration function. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the university’s student sponsor licence duties and the delivery of expert advice and guidance on student immigration to students and staff. You will drive the development of policies, systems and processes to support accurate data monitoring, reporting and ongoing regulatory compliance with a data-led approach to decision making and risk management.
You will have in-depth expert knowledge of UKVI regulations and student visa requirements and experience of managing student immigration compliance within higher education. You will demonstrate strong data literacy, including the ability to analyse and interpret data, identify issues and inform service improvements. You will be able to design, implement and evaluate effective processes and reporting tools. Excellent management, communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively across the university. You will have strong leadership and staff development capabilities and experience of leading a team.
