We are seeking a motivated and organised professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join the team as a Faculty Operations Administrator. The successful candidate will work in conjunction with the Faculty Operations Officers to ensure the delivery of effective operational support within faculties and will co‑ordinate all faculty finance and resource administrative processes. You must be able to build strong working relationships, prioritise a busy workload and work in a flexible and collaborative manner, providing an excellent service to the faculties.
This post is available for approximately 6 months on a fixed‑term contract or secondment basis until the end of February 27. Internal applicants may be considered for a secondment but this would need to be discussed with their line managers prior to application. There are two positions available: one full‑time post (1.0 FTE, 37 hours per week) and one part‑time post (0.6 FTE, 22.2 hours per week).

About The Department: Faculty Operating Service (FOS) plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between faculties, other Professional Services and the broader BU community. The FOS maintains strong compliance and governance and delivers an exceptional student experience through continuous service improvements, efficient processes, and effective communication. As a key member of the Operations Support Team, you will support and enhance the academic environment by providing operational expertise, guidance, and services to staff, students and PGRs, ensuring alignment with BU’s strategic objectives.
