This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Assessments and Awards team within Academic Registry. We are seeking an organised, detail-focused and stakeholder-oriented Assessments and Awards Administrator to join our team. The Administrator role plays a vital part in ensuring the effective delivery of assessment and awards processes, supporting students and academic colleagues throughout the academic year.
You will undertake a set of tasks and responsibilities as appropriate to Assessments and Awards Team functions within Academic Services, including:
- Email inbox query management
- Production of transcripts, diploma supplements, certificates and verifications
- Administration of documentation relating to Assessments and Awards processes and procedures
You will be working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with university regulations and deadlines. Strong administration and communication skills, attention to detail and confidence working with systems and deadlines are essential. HE experience desirable but not required.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
