Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is seeking applications for the position of Principal Timpani. Based in Poole, Dorset, the BSO perform extensively across the south and south-west of England, nationally and internationally, and deliver an extensive range of education and community work through its award‑winning Participate department. The Orchestra’s Chief Conductor is Mark Wigglesworth; Leader Amyn Merchant.

Auditions

Auditions will be held at Citygate Church, Bournemouth on: A list of orchestral excerpts will be sent to all those invited to audition. A study will be given during the warm up time on the audition day. If you are unable to travel to Poole, please contact applications@bsorchestra.co.uk, and we can discuss alternative arrangements.
